Tuesday, May 14 7 pm at Audreys John Kneale will be in store to talk about his new book, Volcano Rising: An Ambassador's Diary. The book covers the three year period that he was ambassador in Ecuador. Part of the book details the kidnapping of seven Edmonton men who were working on a pipeline in the Amazon region. They were held captive in the jungle for three months, finally being released after a ransom had been negotiated. |
